Our surgical facility is located at the Baschurch site and consists of a fully equipped operating theatre, padded recovery room with hoist and preparation area. The surgical suite contains the latest technology available for equine surgery and general anaesthesia. Standing surgery is performed in a dedicated standing surgery room.

Throughout the year we carry out around 1000 procedures both under general anaesthesia and standing sedation. These include colic surgeries, castrations, enucleations, key hole surgery (tenoscopy, bursoscopy and arthroscopy), ovariectomies, bladder stone removal, dental extractions, sinus surgery, sarcoid removal and airway surgery to name but a few.
