Jen Heawood

Jenny grew up in the Cotswolds and started riding at age 7. She then attended the University of Reading and gained a BSc in Animal Science in 2011.

After graduation she started work as a student veterinary nurse at an equine referral hospital in Leicestershire and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in January 2017. She has a particular interest in emergency and critical care patients.

Jenny has just passed her exams for year one of the Higher Education Diploma in Clinical Veterinary Nursing at Myersough College and in another 18 months she should have the Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Equine).

In her spare time Jenny likes to walk her two labradors Spice and Vita.
